Every soldier begins the same way — with a decision. Enlistment opens with a written aptitude exam, a medical screening, and the swearing of the oath of service. From there, recruits enter basic combat training: ten weeks of physical conditioning, weapons handling, field tactics, and the brotherhood that turns civilians into warriors.
BECOMING A MILITARY OFFICER
Officers are trained to lead — under fire, under pressure, and under the weight of responsibility for every soldier they command. Our four-year officer program combines tactical instruction, military history, ethics, and command leadership. Graduates commission as second lieutenants and serve in every branch of the armed forces.

Founded in 1924, our academy has commissioned more than 12,000 officers across infantry, armor, artillery, aviation, naval, and special operations commands. We prepare soldiers not just to fight — but to think, to lead, and to stand for something larger than themselves.
